In November 2006 TP Health was sold to Thompson Nutrition Ltd. Thompson Nutrition were established by the respected English herbalist, M. Barrington Thompson, who opened the first health food store in New Zealand in 1951. Today the company consists of multiple consumer brands, a practitioner range, a wholesale distribution division and manufacturing
sites, in both New Zealand and Australia.
